Kids Programming with TYNKER -
TYNKER for KIDS

What is TYNKER?

Tynker is an educational programming platform
aimed at teaching children
as well as adults to learn how to develop coding skills
Here, instead of typing the source code,
you visually drag blocks of code and snap them together.
with this method, students will be able to code things like,
games, web design, animation and robotics.

While coding with Tynker,
kids apply skills such as
critical thinking, pattern recognition,
focus, problem solving, debugging, resilience, sequencing,
spatial visualization, and algorithmic thinking.
Tynker’s block coding makes it easy to learn
conditional logic, repetition, variables, and functions –
before learning coding concepts used in any
mainstream programming language
such as Swift, JavaScript or Python.

Tynker is based on HTML5 and JavaScript,
can be used in the browser without plugins,
as well as on tablets and smartphones
Tynker is a commercial product,
aimed at selling courses.

Tynker - Empowers your kids to be creative
Tynker is an educational programming
platform aimed at teaching children
how to make games and program

It uses the Drag and Drop concept
Instead of typing the source code,
you visually drag blocks of code
and snap them together.

Tynker is now expanding its platform
to allow kids to control connected devices,
including drones, robots and other
Smart Home products, like lighting systems.

The visual design and principles
are based on the free Scratch

Tynker is great to guide kids
through a variety of visual
programming languages,
It allows them to code robots and drones,
build apps and games,
and explore STEAM activities.

Use it in class, in an after-school
enrichment program, or in a camp setting.

Tynker is a programming option for Minecraft:
Education Edition,
Lego WeDo 2.0, and Parrot Mambo
Drones, so lots of custom-created excitement
can be performed in these platforms too.

Code Palette.

Here, Blocks are grouped together according to what they do.
(example, Sound, Motion, Logic, etc.)
you can Search using 🔍.to find the block you need faster.

3.This is the Coding Area,

here, you drag and drop code blocks from the Palette for your Actors,

Connect code blocks together to write your own programs.

4. Actors List.

clicked block into the Coding Area.

click the Motion group and drag out the move 10 pixels block.
Connect it to the When actor clicked block and your code looks like this:

Then Press Play to test this program and Stop when you’re finished
